I live in the cozy town of Asheville, North Carolina, tucked away in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of the USA. This peaceful corner of the world, surrounded by nature and creative energy, has inspired so much of what I share here on SereniHouse.
I’ve always been drawn to beautiful spaces not the kind you see in glossy magazines, but the ones that feel lived in, loved, and personal. Growing up, I was the kid who begged to rearrange the furniture and spent weekends making vision boards from old decor catalogs. That passion followed me into adulthood, and now I get to share it with you.
SereniHouse is a place where you’ll find home decorating ideas, cozy DIY projects, budget-friendly styling tips, and occasional lifestyle inspiration from seasonal decor to calming routines that bring more peace into your space. I currently live in a small but sun-filled apartment with my golden retriever, **Maple**, and a serious collection of throw blankets. I love slow mornings with a cup of coffee, exploring local antique shops, and finding joy in simple details like the flicker of a candle on a rainy day or fresh flowers on the kitchen counter.
When I’m not working on a DIY or photographing a new room refresh, you can usually find me cooking something low-carb and cozy, journaling at a neighborhood café, or spending time with loved ones in the garden.
